Interaction introducing the Workshop participants – 11th edition

This year’s 11th edition of the Doc Workshop includes 28 participants from 14 countries around the world. The Workshop will be realized within the programme of Serbia’s Capital of Culture from August 16th to 23rd, 2023 in Čačak, and is supported by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Serbia and City of Čačak.

The participants of this year’s Workshop are filmmakers from all over the world – Elisa Baccolo (Italy), Priyanka Verma (India), Harshajit Kumar Goyary (India), Renato Ogata (Brazil), Ana Maria Vijdea (Romania), Giovanna Ribes (Spain), Roya Rabbani (Iran), Joëlle Rottier (Netherlands), Luka Čurčić (Croatia), Marko Šantić (Slovenia/Croatia), Lana Pavkov (Serbia), Elina Kinos (Finland), Omar Khandagale (India), Almira Ismailova (Kazakhstan), Dana Sabitova (Kazakhstan), Nina Faye (France), Luiza Matravolgyi Damião (Brazil), Harsh Hudda (India), Aditi Sharma (India), Amir Musanna (India), Supriya Prasad Rauniar (India), Saloni Sakhardande (India), Anita Gomathy (India), Liav Tamuz (Israel), Maaria Sayed (India), Angelique Muller (France), Anthony Mizzi (Malta), Perihan Incegöz (Switzerland). During the seven-day intensive, educational programme, they will have the opportunity to acquire new knowledge and gain experience related to the production of creative documentary film and to develop their projects.

The lecturers of this year’s Interaction Workshop are Rada Šešić, Inka Achté, Vladimir Perović, Wouter Jansen and Nebojša Slijepčević, who, in addition to daily lectures, will also work on the development of the projects of the five participants in the Doc in Progress programme.

In addition to the educational programme and project development programme, Workshop participants will attend presentations of IVA.lab and Camp participants’ projects, panel discussions, talks and meetings (Speed Meetings) within the Meet2Talk programme, as well as screenings of exceptional creative, short documentaries within the second edition Festival. From 2011 onwards, this programme has welcomed 154 participants from 55 countries, learning from distinguished lecturers and tutors such as leading directors from Serbia and the region – Želimir Žilnik, Rada Šešić, Vladimir Perović, Marko Grba Singh, Nebojša Slijepčević, Mladen Matičević, and Dragan Elčić.
