XR Interaction Without Limits

XR – Interaction Without Limits is an innovative international project that utilizes Extended Reality (XR) to connect young people from the Western Balkans, foster intercultural dialogue and inclusivity, and enable young filmmakers to explore new creative possibilities in cinema through VR/XR technology.  Through a series of carefully designed activities, young people from the region will have the opportunity to meet, collaborate, and develop their skills within the VR/Online Film Workshop, engaging in interactive sessions in a virtual space. The project will also feature XR exhibitions and public lectures on the potential of VR technology to improve the lives of people with disabilities. Youth mobility and regional cooperation will be encouraged through participation in the Giffoni Macedonia Festival, while peer-to-peer learning will enable partner festival teams to exchange knowledge on organizing XR exhibitions and inclusive film festivals.

The project is implemented by the Independent Film Centre Filmart in collaboration with Art Without Limit from Pristina (Kosovo)* and the Planet-M Association from Skopje (North Macedonia). The project is supported through the “Culture and Creativity for the Western Balkans” (CC4WBs) initiative, jointly implemented by the British Council, UNESCO, and the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation (AICS), and funded by the European Union.
