INTERACTION TEEN DOC WORKSHOP PROGRAMME 2024

Part I (online)
May – July 2024
The summer workshop is preceded by several online meetings, organized between May and July 2024 to give a chance to selected participants to get to know each other through introductory presentations/lectures.
Part II (in-person)
20 – 27 August 2024, Užice (Serbia)
- Lectures and mentor sessions
During the workshop, participants will have the opportunity to meet a broad spectrum of highly esteemed regional documentarians and media workers willing to share their knowledge of the industry – including film directing, media literacy and the perception of documentary film as a tool for social change.
- Film production
Working in small crews, participants will create mini-documentaries (up to 5 minutes long) under the mentorship of documentary professionals.
- The Youth Jury of Interaction Festival
In addition, all participants of the Teen Doc workshop will take part in the Youth Jury of the Interaction festival that is happening along with the workshop. After watching the 15 internationally distinguished short documentaries of the Interaction competition programme, attendees of the Teen Doc workshop will have the opportunity to choose a film to be awarded the Youth Jury Award for the best film.
