Elena Maria Melloncelli graduated from the Civica Scuola di Cinema Luchino Visconti, specializing in cinematography and D.O.P. (Director of Photography). In 2015, she participated in the international documentary masterclass Interdoc 2015 in Serbia and the Tasty Food, Tasty Poland workshop at the Expo 2015, organized by the Łódź Film School.

Since 2016, she has been co-founder and co-organizer of the Winter Apricots Prilep International Film Festival in North Macedonia. She regularly collaborates with the Italian production company Berenice Film on cinematic and commercial projects, and works across Italy and North Macedonia in the fields of cinema, photography, and cultural programming.

Since 2022, she has been a member of the cultural collective Augenblick in Genoa, where she programs and organizes festivals such as FuoriFormato, Infinite Bodies, and Prix Vida Italia.
