Teen Doc Workshop Participants

Interaction announces the participants of this year’s Teen Doc workshop

More than 47 high school students’ applications were submitted for the call for participation in this year’s Teen Doc workshop and 16 participants were selected.

The workshop will take place from the 16th to the 23rd of August in Čačak (Serbia). By gathering teens from the Western Balkans region, the workshop aims to improve the cooperation of young people from the area, while offering a unique chance to encourage the enhancement of critical thinking among the young talents and their mobility and intercultural dialogue. Teen Doc is not only a unique opportunity for the teens of the Western Balkan region to widen their creative skills and to provide the possibility of meeting other young talents, but it is also a rare chance to explore new forms of creativity and expression through documentary film.

The mentors and lecturers of this year’s Teen Doc workshop are directors, cinematographers, producers, and film workers from the region: Nebojša Slijepčević (Croatia), Ivan Čojbašić (Montenegro), Elena Melloncelli (North Macedonia), Aleksandra Mitrić-Štifanić (Bosnia and Herzegovina), Vesna Milosavljević, Petar Mitrić and Dejan Petrović (Serbia).

In addition, all Teen Doc workshop participants will participate in the Youth Jury of the Interaction festival that is happening along with the workshop.

Interaction Teen Doc Workshop is organized along with Interaction: short docs film festival, Interaction Camp, which gathers students of international film academies, Interaction Doc Workshop, designed for film professionals, and IVA.lab program, intended for visual artists.
