
Meet2Talk – Panel and Sessions with Experts from Around the World
Accompanying program Meet2Talk at this year’s festival edition
Meet2Talk (M2T) is an accompanying program of Interaction, designed to allow participants of all programs to meet, get to know each other, and exchange experiences. M2T initiates discussions on topics important for the production and authorial aspects of documentary projects, the evolution of contemporary documentary film, and issues related to the relationship between film and society.
This year’s M2T includes public programs – one Panel and five Talk sessions with renowned experts from around the world, as well as an internal program – Speed Meetings.
The Panel titled Dodgeball: The Authenticity of Artistic Expression in a Complex Contemporary Environment, will be held on August 24th, at 10:30 AM at the Small Stage of the Užice National Theatre. Panel participants – Iva Plemić Divjak (producer, president of the Association of Documentary Filmmakers of Serbia – DokSerbia), Doris Bauer (cultural manager, director and programmer of the Vienna Shorts), Wouter Jansen (distributor, director of the distribution company Square Eyes), and Martina Pospíšilová (cultural manager, executive director of Ji.hlava IDFF) will discuss with moderator Ikonija Jeftić, producer of the M2T program, about the factors influencing the contemporary film scene and the challenges faced by documentary filmmakers.
The Talk sessions, during which lecturers will share their rich experience in the field of documentary film, will be held daily from August 21st to 25th, starting at 6:00 PM, also at the Small Stage of the Užice National Theatre.

Speed Meetings is intended for participants of all Interaction programs, that is, film professionals, with the aim of providing opportunities for networking, exchange of ideas, and establishing potential long-term collaborations through organized expert consultations.
Admission to all M2T programs is free.
