MIROSLAV KARIĆ
IVA.LAB TUROR – CURATOR

He holds a BA in Art History from the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Belgrade (2000). Since 2001, Karic has worked as a secretary and curator at the Remont-Independent Art Association, and since 2003, a member of the editorial team of Remont Art Magazine. For many years, Karić was the editor of the Exhibitions section in the monthly cultural guide Yellow Cab in Belgrade. Karić has been professionally involved in various roles, including coordinator, curator, collaborator, and PR professional. He has participated in several art councils and juries: Remont – Independent Art Association, Belgrade Youth Center Gallery, City Gallery in Požega; Dimitrije Bašičević Mangelos Award, Henkel Award, 43rd May Exhibition (ULUPUDS), 12thGrifon Award, Martovski Festival – 64thedition, Film Centre of Serbia – as a jury member for experimental film and video art. 
Since 2010, he has been a member of the organizational and curatorial team of the project initiative Fotodokumenti, as well as a member of the organizational team of “Dimitrije Bašičević Mangelos’ ‘ Award programme. He is a member of the ULUPUDS (The Applied Artists and Designers Association of Serbia) and the International Association of Art Critics – AICA. In 2011, Karić received the annual award of ULUPUDS for his professional engagements, and in 2019, the Award of the Society of Art Historians of Serbia for the best author’s exhibition. Additionally, Karić was honoured with the  “Lazar Trifunović” Award in 2022. Since January 2020, Karić has been working as a curator at the Museum of Contemporary Art Belgrade.
