Interaction XR – Co-Creating the Future: A New XR Exhibition in Užice

In addition to the exhibition, an XR conference and a series of online workshops will be held

The City Cultural Center of Užice will host a new program called Interaction XR – Co-Creating the Future from August 22 to 25. This XR exhibition, curated by prominent XR expert Georgy Molodtsov, a director and producer, and an alumnus of the Interaction Camp from 2007, will showcase interactive XR works and 360 XR works that push the boundaries of documentary filmmaking using the latest technologies.

As part of this year’s Interaction, the XR Conference will be held on August 24, featuring distinguished international speakers such as Georgy Molodtsov (Serbia/Estonia), Barna Szász (Hungary), and Mitya Sorkin (Poland). They will address the potential of XR technology in documentary filmmaking.

The program is supported by the Visegrad Fund and fosters cooperation between different regions through a partnership with the Tofuzi Animated Film Festival from Georgia, as well as partners from Poland, Hungary, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, and North Macedonia. In addition to live events, Interaction XR includes a series of online workshops, with applications open until August 1, inviting young creators (ages 13-21) to enhance their filmmaking skills using XR/VR/AI technologies and immersive storytelling.
