Synopsys:
The film maps the afterlife of the rediscovered writer and pioneer of literary decadence, Irma Geisslová (1855–1914). It does so not through well-known facts, but through the intimate experiences of five characters with Geisslová’s work. The film becomes a portrait of encounters — of voices, words, and gestures, often seemingly mundane — that inhabit the seemingly empty space left behind by the deceased author with a living human presence. The depth of a single small fate becomes the film’s imaginary measure.
