Before you start filling out the application form, please read the programme of Interaction Doc Workshop 2026, the submission guidelines and instructions on how to apply, given below.

It is possible to submit an application with or without a project in development.

DEVELOPMENT PROJECT SUBMISSION

If you would like to participate in the Doc in Progress programme of the Workshop, you are able to apply with a project in development, regardless of the length (short or feature-length documentary) or the current stage of the project (in development, production or the rough cut stage).

PARTICIPATION FEE

The participation fee for the Workshop is:

  • 1000 EUR for participants not taking part in the Doc in Progress programme.
  • 1200 EUR for participants with a project in development selected for the Doc in Progress programme.

The participation fee includes:

  • Lectures
  • Doc in Progress programme (only for participants whose projects are selected for development)
  • Access to all screenings at the Interaction Festival
  • Meet2Talk networking programme
  • Accommodation and meals in a hotel in Požega: 7 half-board stays – double or triple rooms, breakfast, lunch (18 – 24 August 2026)
  • Participant transport:
    Belgrade – Požega (18 August 2026, departure at 1:00 pm from the Nikola Tesla Airport)
    Požega – Belgrade (24 August 2026, departure at 10:00 am from Požega)

The fee does not include:

  • Travel expenses to and from Belgrade (from the participant’s country of departure)
  • Visa issuance (if required for entry into Serbia)
  • International travel health insurance (only for foreign participants)
  • Additional expenses at the hotel

The participation fee can be paid in two installments, with the final payment due by 15 July 2026.

SELECTION PROCESS

After the application deadline, the selection committee will review all applications and select the participants, as well as the five projects for development in the Doc in Progress programme. All applicants will be notified individually about the results.

Selected participants will be notified by the end of May 2026.
