Synopsys:

Urbanization and shifting regimes erased WWII mass graves from Serbian city centers. Brutalist architect Bogdan Bogdanović was commissioned to design a memorial monument outside downtown Čačak, making it both a monumental tribute to the victims and a testament to Bogdanović’s architectural genius. Today, the memorial is neglected, vandalized, and disappearing into the surrounding vegetation, dismissed by many locals as absurd or useless.
