Sarthak Gautam, India
Screenwriter, director, cinematographer, editor

sarthakcdc@gmail.com

Sarthak is a young filmmaker trying to use the medium of cinema to understand the social and political norms that govern us, to question them, and find his own voice through the expression of personal experiences. With a bachelor’s in Mass Communication and Journalism, he also has a PG Diploma in Creative Documentary Filmmaking from Sri Aurobindo Centre for Arts and Communication, New Delhi. At present he’s studying Cinematography from LV Prasad College, Chennai.

At this point in life he is realising the power of love and how it can transform perspectives. In an ever so dystopic future he has hope that love among the masses would prevail. This translates in work as well. Being kinder to one’s peers. Mutual respect and a room for understanding. He is of the belief that a good film is a thorough labor of love, especially indie films.
