Robert Salčić is a film editing student from Croatia. He graduated from the Faculty of Political Science in Zagreb in 2019. and is currently enrolled at the Academy of Dramatic Arts where he is pursuing his second master’s degree. Before entering the world of film, he worked as a journalist, music editor, and radio host.

His work so far includes editing and creating sound design for numerous short films, as well as commercial work on music and promo videos. In 2023. He took part in the Trailer Editing Workshop organized by Zagreb Film Festival, while in the following year he participated in DocStudent Hub training program held by Astra Film Festival in Romania.

‘Grand Prize’ (2024) is the most notable film he edited, a mid-length documentary that has won three special mentions so far. As sound designer, he worked on the short ‘Spot’ (2024) which won the ‘Award for the Best Croatian Short Film’ at Zagreb Film Festival. He also has experience as an assistant editor on various film and TV projects.
