Mitya Sorkin is a creative director and XR experience designer at Feeling Digital, a spatial computing studio based in Warsaw.

He has been creating immersive experiences since 2014, contributing to dozens of pieces across art, marketing, advertising, education, and entertainment.

One of these is Under The Pillow, a multiformat project about a marvelous world inside the sofa. Its prologue was selected for the Cannes XR 2021 lineup within Cannes Film Festival / Marche du Film!, Stereopsia, Geneva International Film Festival / Digital Market, MIFA Pitching, and XR Co-Production Market within the New Images Festival. Last year, the project received an Epic Mega Grant for the pre-production of new episodes.

Most recent interactive projects include the XR well-being platform Novobeing and Akiva Verse, an educational virtual reality platform for neurodivergent children.In 2017, Mitya was part of the team that worked on the My Identity Is This Expanse project by Karolina Markiewicz and Pascal Piron. In 2018, he joined Karolina and Pascal’s team again to work on the prototyping of the Sublimation project, which was eventually selected for the 2019 Biennale College Cinema VR.
