Marko Kumer Murč is a director and producer specializing in documentaries and award-winning short fiction films. He founded the production companies EnaBanda (2011) and Rusaalka (2016). He is also the initiator of the screenwriting workshop Kratka Scena and a co-founder of the association of young producers Prodorni producenti.

As a director, he explores local and international stories with a focus on ecology, human rights, and social groups with limited opportunities for expression and representation. He pays special attention to marginalized voices and seeks ways to give them visibility and dignity through film.

He has participated in various international workshops and training programs, where he developed his approach to telling authentic and socially engaged stories.
