My interest in the medium of film – whether directing, editing, or screenwriting – lies in the transgression of boundaries, in the ecstatic, and in the „uncanny.“ My goal is always to draw the audience into the film through the seduction of cinema, through projection on the screen and projection within themselves.

I have an affinity for intense, boundary-pushing cinema and have been influenced by the films of Wang Bing, Véréna Paravel & Lucien Castaing-Taylor, and Yuri Ancarani. More and more, I am also drawn to auteur cinema by directors such as Winding Refn, Lou Ye, Kenneth Anger, and Werner Herzog, to name just a few.

I am currently studying film (expected graduation in 2027).
