Emanuel Ćosić is an editor, sound designer, and animator from Požega, currently based in Zagreb. He is in his third year of studying editing and sound design at the Academy of Dramatic Arts in Zagreb. He edited his first feature film, Seagull, Somehow (2023), gaining valuable experience in narrative filmmaking.

He works at the production company Out of Focus, where he edits and animates projects including concerts, commercials, and TV shows such as Startaj Hrvatska and River Paths. He edited the documentary The Bread of Mother Tradition, which won Best Documentary at a festival in Chicago.

Emanuel participated in the Clear Rivers Documentary Film Camp in Serbia, where he filmed and edited two documentaries, also handling sound design on one. He is currently finishing his third feature film and a documentary for his graduation project.

He plans to continue his education with a master’s degree in editing, focusing on documentary and narrative film.
