Dejan Petrović, screenwriter and director of several short documentary films, and producer of over 60 short documentaries. Founder and director of the Independent Film Centre “Filmart” which realizes several projects, including the Interaction: Student Film Camp. He is also the artistic director and programmer of the Interaction: Short Docs Film Festival.

He works as a full professor in the Film and Television Directing program at the Academy of Arts in Belgrade. He is a member of the Association DokSerbia – Documentary Filmmakers of Serbia.

His documentary films have been shown at numerous festivals worldwide – IDFA, Visions du Reel, Dok Leipzig, Thessaloniki Documentary Festival, Go Short – International Short Film Festival Nijmegen, Busan International Short Film Festival, Hong Kong International Film Festival, Dokufest, ZagrebDox, and others. The film Adjusting was nominated for the prestigious Doc Alliance Award in 2023. He has won over 25 awards at film festivals in the country and abroad.
