Ayaal Adamov, a director raised in Oymyakon, Sakha Republic (Yakutia) — the “Pole of Cold,” Earth’s coldest inhabited region. A graduate of the Saint Petersburg Institute of Cinema, where he studied under Alexander Sokurov. Adamov’s two acclaimed short films have screened globally at festivals including Busan ISFF, Montreal Festival of New Cinema, ImagineNATIVE, VIENNA SHORTS, and Reykjavík IFF.
