Aleksandra Mitrić-Štifanić was born on January 3, 1982 in Sarajevo. Faculty of Dramatic Arts, Belgrade, Department: Production of Dramatic Arts and Media ended in September 2006. He won the “Bojan Lukić” award for the student of the generation of the Department of Film and TV Production in 2001. He has been involved in film and television since 1996, first as an author of children’s shows produced by the Radio Television of Republika Srpska (RTRS), and then as an executive producer of TV shows, commercials, presidential campaigns, dedicated and documentary films and series. As an executive producer, she has made several important documentaries, produced by the East Sarajevo Forum Theater, and since 2007 she has been working as a selector and artistic director of the First Frame International Film Festival, East Sarajevo, Republika Srpska, BiH. She worked as a member of the jury at the International Festival of Animated Film “Konstantinov zlatnik”, Nis 2016 and SFF, selection Student BH Film. In Republika Srpska, it has implemented two significant projects of decentralization of film art “Film Caravan Road of Film” and “Film Campus Art Documentary” in 7 municipalities. She organized Film event “Golden Knight in the First Frame”, in cooperation with the International Film Festival “Golden Knight”, Russia, May 2017-East Sarajevo, Republic of Srpska. She completed her master’s study “The Art of Documentary Forms” at the Academy of Arts, Belgrade, in 2020. Her first authorial documentary is “Journey”.

Member of the board of the March Festival in the period from 2020-2023. 

She is the producer and author of the documentary series Guardians of Tradition.
