INTERACTION TEEN DOC GATHERS YOUNG FILM TALENTS FROM SERBIA AND THE REGION
From 19 to 25 August, sixteen teenagers from North Macedonia, Montenegro, and Serbia will take part in the Teen Doc workshop, where they will develop their documentary filmmaking and media literacy skills through the production of mini-documentary films.
During the workshop, participants will create four mini-documentaries under the mentorship of award-winning director Luka Papić. Professional support will also be provided by consultants – cinematographer Darko Bašeski from Skopje and director Dejan Petrović. The participants will also be guided by peer educators, former Teen Doc workshop participants – Matija Štifanić, a cinematography student, and Srđa Čvorović, a directing student.
Prior to arriving at the Workshop, participants will attend online media literacy sessions led by Ikonija Jeftić, a producer and assistant lecturer at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade.
The final public screening of the mini-documentaries will be held on August 25, as part of the closing ceremony of the Interaction Festival, marking the end of this year’s Teen Doc workshop.
As in previous years, the workshop participants will also serve as the Youth Jury of the Interaction Festival, awarding the Youth Jury Prize.
The Teen Doc workshop is once again supported by the Ministry of Tourism and Youth of the Republic of Serbia.
