MEET THE PARTICIPANTS OF THE JUBILEE 20TH EDITION OF THE INTERACTION STUDENT FILM CAMP 2025

The Student Film Camp, the most recognizable programme of Interaction, is celebrating two decades of existence this year and will bring together 15 participants from India, France, Switzerland, the Czech Republic, the United Kingdom, Georgia, Mexico, Brazil, Croatia, and Serbia.

This year’s Camp began in mid-June, when the participants, divided into three crews, started researching topics for their documentary films online.

Upon their arrival in Serbia on August 9, they will continue their research on the ground, and then begin filming in Čačak, Požega, and Užice, on a common topic – Community.

Starting August 17, all three crews will gather in Požega to edit their films.

The participants were selected by an eight-member selection committee composed of former Camp attendees, now recognized authors on the international scene – Dorota Ros (Poland), Elena Gurvich Titova (Germany), Isaac Knights-Washbourn (New Zealand/Scotland), Sachin (India), Paula Onet (Romania/France), Luis Armando Sosa Gil (Mexico), Luka Popadić (Serbia), Matija Drniković (Croatia), and the participants will work under the mentorship of award-winning director Isaac Knights-Washbourn. The Camp will conclude on August 25 with a public screening of the films at the Cultural Centre Požega, as part of the closing ceremony of the Interaction Festival.
