World Premiere of a Film from Interaction Camp Shot in Čačak

The short documentary film “Stone Memory”, shot in Čačak during last year’s Interaction: Student Film Camp, will have its world premiere at Sofia Short Fest in Bulgaria. The film will be screened on 17 June 2026 in the official short documentary selection.

The film was created within the 20th edition of the Student Documentary Film Camp Interaction, and produced by the Independent Film Centre Filmart. It was completed in just 17 days, including filming and post-production, as the result of the work of an international team of young filmmakers.

“Stone Memory” brings to life the Memorial Park of Struggle and Victory in Čačak, a forgotten Second World War memorial that silence and nature have almost swallowed over time. Through the voices of the buried, a solitary visitor, and a historian, the film explores its legacy and meaning, as well as a hidden constellation of forgotten memorials across the former Yugoslavia.

In addition to director Wolf Lass, the film’s creative team includes director of photography Anand Bansal, editor Axel Bezençon, and sound recordist and sound designer Vincent Roy, with mentorship support from Isaac Knights-Washbourn. The production manager is Nina Lazić, the local coordinator is Srđa Čvorović, the executive producer is Predrag Živković, and the producer is Dejan Petrović.
