In the fascinating world of VR and AR, it’s easy to be carried away by the possibilities of the medium. However, at its core, every digital project is a sophisticated piece of software. My talk will explore the intricate balance between artistic vision and technical functionality – a balance crucial for delivering immersive experiences.
Bringing ideas to life with limited resources requires meticulous planning, iterative prototyping, and continuous refinement. This process ensures that the final product excels both artistically and functionally. The concept of ‘digital plasticity’ underscores the fluid nature of these projects, where the end result may evolve significantly from the initial concept.
Drawing from over a decade of working as a creative producer in the AR/VR domain, I will share insights on navigating the intersection of technology and creativity. You will learn how to choose the most appropriate production strategy and avoid (fingers crossed) common pitfalls in the ever-changing landscape of development.
