Sonia Cristallo is a film school student from Italy. She moved to Rome at the age of 19 to pursue her studies in film. After focusing on film theory at university, she expanded her knowledge through practical training at various courses and academies, always driven by a main goal – telling the stories of marginalized communities. Whether through narrative fiction or documentary, she aims to create films that give voice to underrepresented experiences, which continues to inspire her to pursue this career despite its many challenges.
