Saloni Sakhardande, india
filmmaker and cinematographer

contact: salonisakhardande@gmail.com

Saloni Sakhardande is an inquisitive, sharp-eyed filmmaker, having completed her BA in Film, specializing in cinematography from Whistling Woods International, Mumbai. She realized her true calling during the Non-Fiction module in film school under mentor Fareeda Mehta. Somewhere between awing in the glory of Ranjan Palit and Agnes Varda, she found filmmakers who encouraged her to pursue the joy of capturing people – from their mundane to their marvel. She has made 2 short personal documentaries which have been to a few film festivals, and are currently being screened online at Shorted India. Other than that, she is a full-time freelance cinematographer, shooting documentaries for NGOs and other organizations like Chambal Media.
