Renato Ogata has been working as a cinematographer and director for audiovisual projects since 2014. He holds a degree in Filmmaking from Universidade Estadual do Paraná, Brazil, and studied Cinematography at Centro de Formación Profesional in Argentina. In 2021, Renato was selected for the Berlinale Talents Buenos Aires. Having experience in fiction and documentary, he made the cinematography of several short films screened and awarded at various international film festivals such as Berlinale, San Sebastian, IndieLisboa, Entrevues Belfort and Olhar de Cinema, among others. And feature films such as “Alice Junior” (70ª Berlinale), “Até o Próximo Domingo” (27ª Festival de Cinema do Rio), “Quatro Irmãs” (43ª Mostra de Cinema de São Paulo) and “Casa Izabel” (47ª Frameline).
