Born in Clermont Ferrand, Angelique studied communications and cinema at the University of Malta. Her graduation film “Ward Sixty6” won the grand prize at the Mediterranean short film festival in Tangier in 2006. Angélique obtained a Master’s degree in screenwriting at Napier University in Scotland in 2008. In 2011, she graduated as an assistant director from the CEFPF in Paris and has since been working as an AD between Malta and France. In 2015 she joined the Film Grain Foundation as a programmer for the Valletta Film Festival. Her third short film “Johnny Johnny” co-produced by Bizibi and Dimanche Soir, La Collectivité Territoriale de Corse, the CNC, and Studio Off-courts was acquired by ARTE France. In 2021 she directed the second unit of the most-watched TV series in the UK that year – “The Holiday”. Her first documentary film Diacomédie produced by Triade Films (Paris) and Dimanche Soir, was just been acquired by France 3 Auvergne and will premiere in France in April 2023.
