INTERACTION CAMP PARTICIPANTS ARRIVE IN ČAČAK

Five participants, film students from the Czech Republic, India, the United States/Slovenia, Switzerland/Japan, and Serbia, arrived in Čačak today, where this year’s Interaction: Student Film Camp begins.

Following several weeks of online research and development of their short documentary film idea, the participants will continue their research in Čačak by engaging directly with the local community. They will then move into production, filming the documentary through 15 August.

The Camp will then continue in Požega, where the participants will work on editing and post-production until 24 August, guided by mentor Isaac Knights-Washbourn, an award-winning director and former Interaction participant.

During their stay in Požega, the Camp participants will also have the opportunity to attend screenings at the Interaction: Short Docs Festival and take part in Meet2Talk programme with guests and participants from other programmes. At the same time, Požega will host Doc Workshop, Teen Doc Workshop, and Interaction: DocuConnect Balkans.
