Synopsys:

A faded resort of plaster rococo, turquoise pools, gilt and chintz.

A thousand people gather to declare a revolution against aging and death. Fear is in the air – of nonbeing, of disease and pain, of being regarded as old or, worse, no longer being regarded at all.

Fear of having no one to take care of you, no one to talk to.

Fear of ending alone.

Fear of dying.

THE REVOLUTION AGAINST DEATH is my poem about these fears, about mortality, capitalism, desperate denial – and our universal longing for communion and love.
