Beatričė Bankauskaitė is a Lithuanian documentary filmmaker, editor and radio producer. She currently develops her own documentary while working as an editor and archival researcher on films in Lithuania and abroad. Her work explores social issues, human rights, and historical memory through an artistic approach. She also produces radio features and documentaries as an international news editor at Lithuanian National Radio and Television.
In 2023, she completed a Fulbright-funded MA in Journalism at the University of Missouri, focused on documentary film and image storytelling. In the US, she worked as an assistant editor on the hybrid film Pavements, which premiered at the Venice Film Festival, as well as a film assistant at the Museum of the Moving Image in New York. She also served twice on the selection committee of the Camden International Film Festival.
