After earning a PhD in Physics from the University of Nantes, France, in 2010, Art Geromitsos shifted his focus toward data analysis, working extensively with code for almost ten years. Since 2023, he has been studying cinematography at the Stavrakos Film School in Athens, Greece.

Alongside his studies, Art has been building his own filmmaking toolkit, including cameras, lights, and lenses, enabling him to work on independent film projects. His current endeavor is the production of a documentary as his graduation project, which is currently in development.
