Lucie Zpěváková is a second-year documentary directing student at FAMU. She sees film as a medium that can awaken empathy and create space for overlooked voices. Her work moves between observation, poetry and experimentation, using metaphors and symbols to explore the tension between intimacy and distance. Living abroad and in different communities, from a favela in Rio to Argentina, the United Kingdom and Berlin, has shaped the way she sees and tells stories.
