The 20th Anniversary Edition of the Interaction Camp Begins

On Saturday, August 9, with the arrival of fifteen participants – film academy students from 12 countries (Austria, Brazil, United Kingdom, France, Mexico, India, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Georgia, North Macedonia, Croatia, Serbia) – the 20th Interaction: Student Film Camp officially began.
At the introductory workshop, held at the Artget Gallery of the Cultural Centre of Belgrade, the participants were welcomed by Zorana Đaković Minniti, Assistant Director at the Cultural Centre of Belgrade; Dejan Petrović, Interaction Artistic Director; Predrag Živković, Interaction Camp Executive Producer, as well as Isaac Nights Washborn (New Zealand/Scotland) – director, Interaction alumnus, and, for the first time, a camp mentor.

During their stay at the camp, from August 9 to 25, the participants will continue researching stories for their films, and will then proceed with shooting and editing their documentaries. After the introductory workshop, the students traveled to Čačak, Užice, and Požega, where, divided into three crews, they are filming three short documentary films.

The short documentaries produced at the 20th Interaction Camp, on the theme Community, will have a pre-premiere screening on August 25 at the closing ceremony of the Interaction Festival in Požega.
