
INTERACTION TEEN DOC WORKSHOP 2025 – OPEN CALL!
Interaction Teen Doc Workshop is a seven-day educational program intended for teenagers aged 14 to 18 from Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, North Macedonia, Croatia, Albania, and Serbia, who want to learn more about creative documentary film and media literacy, develop their own creativity, and collaborate with peers from the region.
Through teamwork and with the support of mentors and consultants, participnts will produce four short documentaries, going through the entire process – from the initial idea to the final version of the film. Before meeting in person, participants will have the opportunity to get to know each other and acquire basic media literacy skills through two online workshops held in July and August. This year’s Workshop will feature prominent film professionals from Serbia and the region working with the participants – Luka Papić (director), Darko Basheski (cinematographer and producer), Ikonija Jeftić (producer), and Dejan Petrović (director), as well as peer educators Matija Štifanić (cinematography student) and Srđa Čvorović (directing student).
Additionally, participants of the Teen Doc Workshop will take on the role of the Youth Jury of the Interaction Festival.
This year’s edition will be held from 19 to 25 August in Požega (Serbia), simultaneously with several other Interaction programmes – the Short Documentary Film Festival, the Student Film Camp, the Documentary Film Workshop, the Meet2Talk programme, and XR Interaction.
