Corina Schwingruber Ilić, Switzerland
DOC WORKSHOP 2025 – TUTOR

Corina Schwingruber Ilić, born in Switzerland, studied at the University of Arts in Basel, in Belgrade, and at the Lucerne School of Art and Design, in the Video Department. She has directed a number of award-winning short documentaries. Her best-known short All Inclusive (2018) was selected at over 250 festivals such as Venice, TIFF and Sundance and was honoured with more than 30 awards (including the Swiss Film Award 2019, SXSW Special Recognition, Golden Dove at DokLeipzig, Golden Egg at Küstendorf, etc.). It also was eligible for the Oscars 2020. Her first feature documentary Dida (co-directed with Nikola Ilić) premiered at Vision du Réel in Nyon 2021 and won the Audience Award at Dok Leipzig 2021. Her latest short Been There premiered at Locarno 2023, where it won a candidacy for the European Film Awards and a Special Mention.
Corina is the co-founder of Pro Short, the Swiss Association for short films. She is a member of the Swiss and the European Film Academy and Alumni of the Berlinale Talents. Her heart continues to beat for the short documentary film and further projects are in the pipeline.
