Priyanka is a multifaceted filmmaker who started as a cinematographer and diversified into the role of a writer-director. Her work as a cinematographer includes Emmy Nominated show Indian Matchmaking and season 3 of Aarya, a series created by the renowned Ram Madhvani Films. She shot the documentary on the issue of child marriage produced by Sikhiya Entertainment which was also in the Oscar consideration room along with Elephant Whisperers. Priyanka has won the Best Film Award for her first short film Maunn at the Oscar Qualifying Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film Festival. Maunn is currently streaming on JioCinema and was nominated for Best Short Film and Best Director at the prestigious Critics Choice Awards for Shorts and Series.
