Kait Harlow (Baton Rouge, 1997) is a documentary filmmaker and editor. She creates films forged with gentleness and foraged from co-creative practices, grounded in collaboration and inventing participatory and performative methods with her protagonists. Her curiosity about social and ecological interconnectedness steers her towards stories about queer identity and the non-human world.

A nomad originally from the U.S. South, she has lived and worked in the USA, Peru, Bolivia, Mexico, Spain, Portugal, Hungary, and Belgium. She earned a B.A. in visual journalism from UNC Chapel Hill and has interned for American Documentary, UnionDocs, and the New Media Advocacy Project.
